This is a beautiful vintage / antique Trifari pair of clip on earrings. They are made up of tear drop shaped rhinestones glue set in a swirl golden toned Trifanium. I haven't seen another pair of earrings just like this so I believe they are pretty rare.
I am also selling the matching bracelet and another pair of the earrings from this same collection separately!

Patent Info: I could not find the patent for the earrings but the patent that was granted for another pair of the swirl earrings of the collection was patent 170,370 (shown in the last photo) and the matching bracelet was patent # 170,374 - both patents granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 8, 1953 and it would have been made right around that same time. Size: They are approximately 7/8 of an inch tall and a little over 1 inch wide (they are worn sideways)
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI PAT PEND" with a crown over the "T" on the tops of the clips
Closure: Clip on style earrings
Condition: There is some wear to the golden toned Trifanium but all the rhinestones are present and look nice and the clips hold tight.
