This is a pair of vintage / antique Trifari clip on earrings from the Golden Magic collection but these are actually platinum toned Trifanium. Any discoloration you see on the front are reflections - these earrings are beautiful! These earrings are either pretty rare or no one knows what they are called because I could never find another pair shown on the internet.
I am also selling the matching necklace separately!

Advertisement Info: They were one of the sets featured in Trifari's 1954 Christmas advertisement "Her favorite Santa gives her Jewels by Trifari".
Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for these earrings was patent # 173,080 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 21, 1954. (Click here to see copy of the patent)
Size: They are approximately 7/8 inches tall and 3/4 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T" and "Pat Pend" on the top of the clips
Closure: Clip on style earrings
Condition: These earrings are near mint (there is only one tiny spot of corrosion near the back where the clip mechanism attaches to the earring - see last picture)! Amazing condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
