This is a vintage / antique 1953 Trifari brooch / pin. It is made up of beautiful sparkly baguette, marquise and chaton cut rhinestones all glue set in a platinum toned Trifanium.

Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for this brooch was patent # 170,282 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Aug 25, 1953. (Click here to see the patent)
Size: It is approximately 1 5/8 inches tall and 1 1/8 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI PAT PEND" on the back with a crown over the "T" (the crown is really hard to see because it wraps around the edge)
Closure: Fold over pin with roll over 'c' safety
Condition: There is a little wear to the platinum toned Trifanium but it is still a very pretty brooch!
