This is a beautiful vintage / antique 1950 Trifari brooch / pin. It is made up of 10 dark red marquise cut, 1 dark red tear drop shaped and one clear chaton rhinestone all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium formed in the shape of an open leaf.

Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for this brooch was patent # 159,845 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Aug 22, 1950.
Size: It is a little over 2 1/2 inches tall and almost 1 1/4 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI PAT. PEND" on the back
Closure: Fold over pin with roll over 'c' safety
Condition: There are 2 tiny bad spots and a rubbing on the right side of the brooch (see last photo) but all the rhinestones are beautiful, bright and sparkly! Amazing condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
