Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for this brooch was patent # 167,714 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 9, 1952.
Size: It is approximately 1 3/4 inches tall and almost 1 1/4 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI PAT PEND" on the back with a crown over the "T" (the crown is hard to see because it goes over the edge)
Closure: Fold over pin with roll over 'c' safety
Condition: All the rhinestones are present and pretty sparkly and the platinum toned Trifanium only shows slight wear - amazing for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
