Patent Information: The patent that was eventually granted for the matching necklace with rhinestones was patent # 170,384 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 8, 1953. Size: It is short at approximately 131/2 inches long plus a 2 1/2 inch extension chain
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI PAT PEND" on the inside of the "J" hook (the other pieces of the collection have crowns over the "T" - they were often omitted on the "J" hooks for lack of room.)
Closure: "J" hook
Condition: This necklace is near mint with only slight traces of wear to the platinum toned Trifanium - amazing condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
