Description:
This is a vintage / antique 1953 Trifari choker necklace. I'm pretty sure this is part of the collection Trifari named "Skylark". It is made up of beautiful marquise cut rhinestones along with baguette and chaton cut rhinestones all glue set in a platinum toned Trifanium.
I am listing the beautiful matching earrings separately!

Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for this choker necklace patent # 170,377 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 8, 1953. (Click here to view the patent)
Size: It is approximately 13.5 inches long plus a 2.5 inch extension chain for a total of a little over 16 inches
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" on the inside of the "J" hook and on the back of the 'pendant'
Closure: "J" hook
Condition: The rhinestones are all present and look original but it looks like one of the baguette cut rhinestones has been glued back in - it doesn't have the amazing sparkly as all the rest! The platinum toned Trifanium is in excellent condition except for some wear near the "J" hook. Really nice condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
