Book Reference: Parts of this collection were also featured on page 253 of Julia C Carroll's book "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 Second Edition".
Advertisement Info: It was one of the collections featured in Trifari's 1953 advertisement "She will know it's Christmas when you give her Jewels by Trifari".
Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for this choker necklace patent # 170,211 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Aug 18, 1953.
Size: It is really short at approximately 13 1/2 inches long plus a 2 1/2 inch extension chain for a total of almost 16 inches.
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" with a crown over the "T" on the back of the pendant section and "TRIFARI " with a crown over the "T" on the inside of the "J" hook on the necklace
Closure: "J" type hook
Condition: As I have found with most of this collection there is some wear to the plating and a hint of cloudiness underneath the clear baguettes but this necklace is still beautiful!
