Description:
This is a vintage / antique 1952 crown Trifari necklace from the Lorelei collection. They describe their metal of this period as gold-tone Trifanium. The set is made up of oval and round clear rhinestones all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium. This necklace is pretty hard to find!
I am selling the matching bracelet separately!

Advertisement Info: Trifari 1952 advertisement "Mothers of every age ...love Jewels by Trifari" (Click here to view advertisement)
Patent Info: I couldn't find the patent for the necklace but the patent for the matching bracelet was patent # 166,621 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc on April 29, 1952 (bracelet patent in last picture above). (Click here to view patent)
Size: It is approximately 14 inches long plus a 2 1/2 inch extension chain
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" on the inside of the "J" hook
Closure: "J" hook
Condition: There is a small bad spot (see last picture) and some wear to the golden toned Trifanium - all the rhinestones are present but I can't tell if the tiny ones are original to the necklace or not - still amazing condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
