This is a rare, beautiful, vintage / antique 1954 Trifari choker necklace. This is part of Trifari's "Minuet" group that is so highly coveted by Trifari collectors! It is made up of beautiful sparkly very light greenish-yellow oval shaped rhinestones, clear round and clear baguette cut rhinestones - all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium. It also has the dark blue enamel accents along the 'ribbon' (missing at center top).

Patent Information: The patent that was eventually granted for this necklace was patent # 172,680 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on July 20, 1954.
Size: It is short at approximately 13 1/4 inches long plus a 2 1/4 inch extension chain
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" with a crown over the "T" on the back of the centerpiece
Closure: "J" hook
Condition: All the beautiful rhinestones are present and look original to the necklace. The metal does have slight wear and the center top section does not have it's enamel - if you didn't know it was supposed to be there you might not notice - this is still a beautiful necklace - amazing condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!!
