This is a beautiful vintage / antique 1954 Trifari choker necklace. It is made up of beautiful red baguette rhinestones along with clear baguette rhinestones - all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium.

Patent Information: The patent that was eventually granted for this choker necklace patent # 173,382 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Nov 2, 1954. (Click here to view patent)
Size: It is short at approximately 14.5 inches long and has a 2 inch extension chain
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI PAT PEND" with a crown over the "T" on the back of the center section and "TRIFARI PAT PEND" on the inside of the "J" hook
Closure: "J" hook type closure
Condition: The rhinestones are all present and look original to the necklace but there is quite a bit of wear to the metal - all in all still good condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
