Description:
This is a pretty rare vintage / antique 1950 Trifari brooch / pin. The patent that was eventually granted for this brooch was patent # 160,120 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 12, 1950. It is made up of small round rhinestones and faux pearls (all glue set) in the form of a dangling cluster of grapes. It would be great to add to your collection or to wear!

Size: It is approximately 2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" with a crown over the "T" on the back
Closure: Fold over pin with roll over 'c' safety
Condition: The metal has darkened and has quite a bit of wear. While all the faux pearls and rhinestones are present - some of the rhinestones are replacements and some of the faux pearls have been glued back in at some point. Still fair condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
