Description:
This is a beautiful vintage / antique 1953 Trifari brooch / pin. The patent that was eventually granted for this brooch was patent # 170,281 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Aug 25. 1953. It is made up of beautiful oval, baguette and chaton clear rhinestones all glue set in a platinum toned Trifanium. I wasn't able to find another one like this so I believe it is pretty rare. It would be great to add to your collection or to wear!

Size: It is approximately 2 inches tall and 1 3/8 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" on the back
Closure: Fold over pin with roll over 'c' safety
Condition: There is only the slightest wear to the platinum toned Trifanium and a couple of the small chaton rhinestones on the right are discolored from someone gluing them back in - I know the discoloration looks pretty bad in the photos but it really isn't noticeable in person - still amazing condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
