This is a rare vintage / antique 1948 Trifari choker necklace. The patent was patent # 151,540 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc on Oct 26, 1948. There are 2 purple glue set rhinestones on each link connector. There are even 2 rhinestones on the back of the fold over clasp so that it is hidden when worn! It would still be great to add to your collection or wear!
Size: It is approximately 15 inches long and a little over 1/2 inch wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T" near the fold over clasp
Closure: Fold over clasp
Condition: Fair antique / vintage condition! The gold tone metal has darkened with age but all the rhinestones are present and look original! Still amazing condition for a piece of jewelry that is over 60 years old!
