Description:
Size: It is short at approximately 13 1/2 inches long plus a 2 1/2 inch extension chain for a total of 16 inches
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" and "C" for copyright on the back of the "J" hook
Closure: "J" hook
Condition: Under very close examination I can see that some of the rhinestones have clouded or darkened with age. Also, The gold toned metal does show wear - even corrosion on a couple of the backs of the links (please see last photo). But this is still a beautiful necklace with amazing sparkle - still great condition for a necklace that is over 50 years old!
This is a beautiful rare antique Trifari choker necklace. They named this necklace "Knightsbridge" and it was one of the necklaces featured in Trifari's 1960 'Christmas Booty' advertisement. It is made of a golden toned Trifanium with a wheat type texture in the center of each of the 15 links and then they are lined with a total of 450 rhinestones which give this necklace amazing sparkle!
