Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for these earrings was patent # 1662,212 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on March 18, 1952.
Size: It is approximately 1 inch tall and 1 1/4 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI PAT PEND" with a crown over the "T" on the tops of the clips
Closure: Clip on style
Condition: There is the normal wear to the golden toned Trifanium and while all rhinestones and pearls are present - I can tell some have been glued back in at some point - still great condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
This is a beautiful vintage / antique Trifari pair of clip on earrings. They named this set "Parisienne" and it appeared in Trifari's 1952 advertisement "the enchanted touch Jewels by Trifari. Parisienne - Sophisticated and Gracious. Dainty jewel petaled flowers with diamond like dew drops are set into a background of golden Trifanium." They are made up of beautiful baguette and round rhinestones along with simulated pearls all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium. They would be great to add to your collection or to wear!
