This is a vintage / antique 1954 Trifari brooch / pin. The patent that was eventually granted for this brooch was patent # 173,086 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 21, 1954. It is made up of amber colored tear drop shaped rhinestones and baguette shaped rhinestone accents glue set in a golden toned Trifanium. It would be great to add to your collection or to wear!

Size: It is approximately 1 1/2 inches tall and almost 1 1/2 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" on the back with a crown over the "T"
Closure: Fold over pin with roll over 'c' safety
Condition: One of the baguette rhinestones is a little dark underneath and a couple others are cloudy underneath but they are all present. The metal is a little worn but all in all - pretty good for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
