This is a pair of vintage / antique Trifari dangle clip on earrings in a golden toned Trifanium. The patent that was eventually granted for these earrings was patent # 161,202 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Dec 12, 1950. The top section (looks like an 8) has a cap dangling from it. From that cap there are 3 dangles - the end 2 have 2 separate sections and the center dangle has 3. I'm not sure if these earrings are rare or if people don't know the patent number because I couldn't find another pair in the internet.
They would be great to add to your collection or to wear!
Size: They are approximately 2 inches tall and almost 1/2 inch wide at the widest point
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T" and "Design Pat Pend" on the top of the clips
Closure: Clip on earrings
Condition: The metal has some darkening / wear but this is still pretty good condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
