Description:
This is a beautiful crown Trifari purple rhinestone brooch. This was patent #165,545 and was granted on Dec 25, 1951 to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc so it would have been made right around that time period. This set named "Spring Fantasy" also appeared in the 1952 Trifari advertisement "Mothers of Every Age Love Jewels by Trifari". It is made up of golden tone Trifanium with 17 beautiful purple marquise cut larger rhinestones and 2 tiny round rhinestone accents. All the rhinestones are glue set. This brooch would be great to wear or to add to your collection!

Size: It is approximately 2 3/8 inches tall and a little over 1 1/2 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T"
Closure: Fold over pin with c closure and safety
Condition: Great antique condition - all the rhinestones are present bright and sparkly. The metal plating has a little wear but it is actually pretty good considering it is over 60 years old!
