This is a vintage / antique Trifari necklace. They named this collection "Golden Gate". The necklace appeared in Trifari's 1955 "Make it a wonderful Christmas with Jewels by Trifari" advertisement. It is made up of very shiny golden toned Trifanium! It would be great to add to your collection or to wear!

Size: The necklace is 14 inches plus a 2 1/2 inch extension chain. It is 1/2 inch wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" and "C" for copyright on the inside of the "J" hook. (There would have been a crown over the "T" but they often omitted it on the "J" type hooks for lack of room)
Closure: Fold over clasp on the bracelet and "J" type hook on the necklace
Condition: This necklace looks beautiful until you examine it very closely - then you will see some coating loss here and there on the golden toned Trifanium - still really good for jewelry that is over 50 years old!
