Description:
This is a beautiful vintage / antique 1954 Trifari bracelet. They named this collection "Mermaid" and it was one of the sets featured in Trifari's 1954 advertisement "She will love you more for remembering her with Jewels by Trifari." I could not find the patent for the bracelet but the patent that was granted for the matching choker necklace was patent # 172,512 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on June 29, 1954 (shown above in last picture). It is made up of beautiful clear baguette cut and round rhinestones and similated pearls all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium. It would be great to add to your collection or to wear!
I am listing the beautiful matching earrings and necklace from the set separately!
Size: It is approximately 6 3/4 inches long and almost 1/2 inch wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" on the back of the fold over clasp
Closure: fold over clasp
Condition: While all the rhinestones and faux pearls are present - it is obvious one of the baguette cut rhinestones has been replaced and a couple of the other rhinestones and faux pearls have been glued back in at some point. The golden tone Trifanium is in nice condition with only slight wear. Still nice condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
