This is a beautiful vintage / antique 1953 Trifari brooch / pin. They named this collection "Flirtation". The patent that was eventually granted for this brooch patent # 170,208 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Aug 18, 1953. It is part of one of the collections featured in Trifari's 1953 advertisement "She will know it's Christmas when you give her Jewels by Trifari". It is made of beautiful emerald green colored marquise cut and square rhinestones along with baguette cut and round clear rhinestones all glue set in a combination of golden AND platinum toned Trifanium. It would be great to add to your collection or to wear!

Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" with a crown over the "T"
Closure: Fold over stick pin with roll over 'c' safety
Condition: There is wear to the metal commensurate with age and slight yellowing / dulling to a couple of the rhinestones but it is still a really pretty brooch!
