Condition: Excellent vintage condition. This necklace is really beautiful with just a few tiny surface scratches and no plating loss that I can see!
This is a beautiful Napier choker necklace. This is part of Napier's "Carlyle" collection. It is made up of a cast metal, gold-plated with polished and textures surfaces in an "X" motif. It is heavy and well made! (I couldn't get a picture without reflections so that is what you see in the photos) This set was featured in the 1994 Napier "Carlyle" advertisement. The brooch from the set was also featured on page 697 in my copy of "The Napier Co. Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry" by Melinda L. Lewis. It would be great to add to your collection or to wear!
