Advertisement Information: It was one of the sets featured in Trifari's 1954 Christmas advertisement "Her favorite Santa gives her Jewels by Trifari".
Patent Information: I could not find the patent for the necklace but the patent that was granted for the matching bracelet was patent # 172,510 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on June 29, 1954 so it would have been at that same time.
Size: It is short at approximately 14 1/4 inches long plus a 2 2/1 inch extension chain (16 3/4"). It is almost 1/2 inches wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI Pat Pend" on the inside of the "J" hook
Closure: "J" type hook
Condition: The gold tone metal shows only light wear and all the rhinestones look really nice - amazing condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
