This is a beautiful vintage / antique Trifari pair of clip on earrings. They are made up of beautiful clear marquise cut and round rhinestones all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium.

Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for these earrings was patent # 162,449 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on March 13, 1951. (Click here to see the patent)
Size: It is approximately 1 inch tall and almost 1 inch wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T" on the tops of the clips and " PAT PEND" on the underside of the clips
Closure: Old style clips
Condition: They have what looks like a manufacturer imperfection which you can see in the last photo but other than that - they are in wonderful condition with very little wear! The rhinestones sparkle and the golden toned Trifanium has a beautiful shiny finish - amazing for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
