This is a pair of vintage / antique Trifari clip on earrings. They are each made up of 7 tear drop shaped rhinestones,1 baguette and 1 round clear (although they look like they have a yellow tint in some light) rhinestone glue set in a golden toned Trifanium.
I am also selling the matching necklace and bracelet!

Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for these earrings was patent # 173,084 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 21, 1954. (Click here to see the patent)
Size: They are a little over 1 inch tall and 3/4 inch wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T" and "Design Pat Pend" on the top of the clips
Closure: Clip on style earrings
Condition: All the rhinestones are present and look original to the earrings (although some have been glued back in at some point). The metal does show some slight wear but they are still pretty good condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
