Book Reference: This set was also one of the sets featured on page 249 in Julia C Carroll's book "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" 2nd Edition.
Advertisement Info: This set was shown in the 1952 Trifari advertisement "The most enchanted gift of all Jewels by Trifari".
Patent Info: I could not find the patent for the earrings but the patent that was eventually granted for the matching brooch was patent # 167,716 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Sept 9, 1952 so it would have been made around that time. Size: They are approximately 1 inch tall and 7/8 inch wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T" and "Pat Pend" on the top of the clips
Closure: Clip on style earrings
Condition: These earrings do show slight wear but they are in amazing condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!
