This is a beautiful pair of vintage / antique 1955 Trifari clip on earrings. They are made up of beautiful clear baguette cut and small chaton accent rhinestones and simulated pearls - all glue set in a golden toned Trifanium. They would be great to add to your collection or to wear!

Patent Info: The patent that was eventually granted for these earrings was patent # 173,997 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Feb 8, 1955. (Click here to see a copy of the patent)
Size: They are approximately 3/4 inch tall and 3/4 inch wide
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI DESIGN PAT PEND" with a crown over the "T" on the tops of the clips
Closure: Clip on style earrings
Condition: There is some wear and while all the faux pearls and rhinestones are present it looks like a couple have been glued back in at some point - still pretty good condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old
